DESCRIPTION

Antique 1800's primitive redware CROCK from Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

Beautifully made showing the ribbed lines, especially on the interior, of being thrown (shaped) on a potters wheel. Handsome applied handle to one side. This crock is glazed both on the interior and exterior in a rich brown glaze. The unglazed well worn base shows the typical redware colored pottery.

Size: 6-1/4" high x 8" across including handle - 20" circumference - 4" opening

A Good Size & Gorgeous Glaze!  



CONDITION 

In very good condition.

No hairlines, cracks or repairs.

The rim shows wear and there are scattered small glaze pops.
