DESCRIPTION

Early 1800's antique wooden mortar & pestle. Fabulous Color! The rich grain patterned lignum vitae mortar measures 7" high and 6-1/4" across with plenty of age wear visible on interior and bottom. A few small shrinkage lines along the flared base and a short shrinkage line along the rim. The pestle is made of cherry and measures 11" long and also shows good age and wear.

The set is very heavy weighs over 6 lbs.

Size:  7" high and 6-1/4" across
