DESCRIPTION

From a local Lancaster County estate, here's a beauty of a vintage finished kit quilt that was made in the 1970's to celebrate the Bi-Centennial.  Rarely used, it is in excellent condition with no wear and no damage. All hand quilted and cross stitched with tulip flowers and an eagle at the center. Outer border has additional tulip flowers in scrolling vines. All carefully and neatly accomplished by hand. Beautifully quilted at 7 stitches to the inch. The fabrics are all cotton. The front is a pale cream, the same fabric was used for the backing. There is a fine hand stitched knife-edge binding and a ight weight batting.

CONDITION

In excellent condition, no wear, a few small faint spots that are hard to find.

No fading, no missing threads or pulls anywhere.

Clean and ready to use. Just beautiful!
