DESCRIPTION

Just A gorgeous little turned box with lid.  Made of Apple Wood.  This is an antique made in the 19th Century.  The maker added a little paper label written in ink to the interior of the lid with the type of wood it was created from.  Appe Pyrus or Common Apple.  There is also a tiny ink notation on the interior of the base W 8/2.  Lovely little shape, a mushroom finial on the lid, one incised line around the body and a pedestal foot.  

CONDITION

Condition:  Excellent Condition.  No damage.  Clean.  Good very tight fitting lid.  Tiny residue from collectors label along edge of lid and base.

Size:  2-5/8" high - 1-3/8" across the base
