A handsome early primitive, a wrought
iron flat spatula. This one in the much sought after "Keyhole" shape.
Short thick handle with double incised lines, blade narrows toward
tip, a good hanging hook end with tight curl. Nicely balanced in your
hand, and a good weight, weighs 7 ounces.
This had plenty of use at the hearth
for many years as you can see from the heat pitting
Untouched, we left it just as
found. It's original patina is still in tact, some rust visible.
